The Robert Ruark Inn is a Victorian Bed and Breakfast, located in Southport, NC, was simply spectacular during the festive Christmas season. Festooned in garlands of fragrant cedar and succulent magnolia, the Inn was magnificent to behold.  I’ve heard the freshly prepared gourmet breakfasts are to die for and I can hardly wait to book my springtime stay when all the daffodils, azaleas, and dogwoods are in full glory!!!

What a wonderful job the builder, Cornerstone Building Company of Southport, NC, did in preserving the heritage of Southport, North Carolina and of the era the house was originally constructed in. It is truly the most beautiful house in Southport! During the tour some 1200 visitors were treated to a tour of the past, with the vintage antiques, original hardwoods, lancet windows and Southport bows throughout the home.I found out that Cornerstone Building Company has restored other historic homes on the tour this year!
